Need-Based Scholarships

Alternative Spring Break is offer several types of need-based scholarships for ASB 2010.

We are offering several need-based scholarships up to $500, and no more than 50% of trip cost, toward the cost of participating in Alternative Winter & Spring Break.

Additionally, we are offering one ASB Alumni Scholarships. Past participants fund these scholarships, and in return, recipients will submit a detailed report to the alumni about the site and the service the recipient does there.

To apply for either or both scholarships, it is required that all applicants submit a financial aid statement or financial aid award letter (a photocopy or ISIS print-out) and it is recommended that applicants give additional information that he/she would like to share including anything about his/her current financial need that does not come across in his/her financial aid statement.

Only hard copies of the application will be accepted. Please do not submit any information online to prevent personal information theft. Applications are due at 16 East Lawn.

Applications for Winter scholarships will be due to 16 East Lawn by 11:59 pm on November 8th. Applications for Spring scholarships will be due to 16 East Lawn by 11:59 pm on November 16th.
